The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies (ELPS) in the College of Education at the University of Houston invites applications for temporary adjunct faculty positions as a Field Supervisor for our Superintendent Certification program. Field Supervisors provide supervision, including structured guidance, ongoing support, and formal observations for candidates enrolled in practicum courses.

As a nontenure track (NTT) position, the appointee will accrue no time toward tenure at the University of Houston. Qualifications:
· A master’s degree in school leadership, or a related field.
· Current, valid TEA certification as a Superintendent in Texas.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in district leadership in a Texas public, public charter, or accredited private school.
· TEA-approved Field Supervisor Observation Training for Advanced Candidates
